Public Awareness & Outreach

Our Goals

 

Provide quarterly informational material on MS to the general public.

Partner with African American churches and community-based organizations to determine the need and available resources.

Disseminate information about MS and its impact at various health events, activities, and health care facilities.

Fall 2022 create a webinar designed to address new approaches for managing MS, as well as continuing the KSF’s ongoing partnership with PNC Fairfax Connection.

Outreach events in the past have included:

 

  • MS Awareness Sunday at Providence Baptist Church

  • Annual Jazz and Jokes Fundraiser

  • Annual Golf Outings

  • Speaking engagements

  • KSF featured in numerous articles
